Learn How to add Metatags for your Blog

For better indexing in search engines yo can put metatags in your blog.

This metatags include the author, description of your blog or website, and the most important, the keywords.

Adding metatags has been doing for many years, some say that it doesn't have much value as before but in any case is always good add them.

Let's go!

In blogger go to Layout>Edit HTML.

Now Search the <title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title> tag in your template using your browser search function.

After this line paste the following code:

<!-- Metatags GeThiStuff --> 

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "index"'> 

<meta content='KEYWORDS SEPARATED BY COMMA' name='keywords'/> 

<meta content='DESCRIPTION OF YOUR BLOG' name='description'/>

<meta content='YOUR NAME' name='author'/> </b:if>

It's that simple, just replace the text in red by the needed info. Now your blog has more possibilities to be found in the search engines.
