How to get traffic to your blog is a big issue.
All bloggers want that their articles reach more people and to be known in search engines.
It's essential for the life of a blog because without readers the blogs die.
There is no point having the best articles in the world if nobody read your blog or web site.
No matter if your blog is new or you has been writing during a year on it, all bloggers should look for ways to generate more traffic.

TIP 1 - UNIQUE AND QUALITY CONTENT
Write quality content with interesting information and choose well the keywords.
To build a great blog, the most important thing is to provide the information that your readers want to read And do it well.
Even google webmaster guides talk about it.
If you take time to think about useful content, people will talk about it and they will link your posts in their websites and blogs.
Help readers to solve their problems.
TIP 2 - WRITE, WRITE AND WRITE AGAIN
The more posts you write more often they will find your blog in the search engines.
Search engines prefer sites that are updated frequently.
Don't stay 2 weeks without publishing.
If you have time, update your blog once a day. If not, at least update it once or twice per week.
TIP 3 - DOMAIN NAME EASY TO REMEMBER
Like I said my other post 5 mistakes to avoid in your blog, a domain name like www.mynameisjohnsmith.com is long and hard to remember.
Choose a short name, easy to remember and related to the topic of your blog.
TIP 4 - USE KEYWORDS
If you want that you blog appears in the search engines, you have to know what words people searh.
There are free tools like Google Keywords that will help you with this.
Search with this tool, words related to your blog and use the ideas that Google Keywords give you.
Use them in your post bodies, links and post titles!
TIP 5 - WRITE GOOD POST TITLES
It's that simple. Write interesting post titles and you will call the attention.
Look at the titles of other sites and aply it to your blog.
TIP 6 - WORK WITH THE SEARCH ENGINES
Every day the search engines make improvements to give bad rankings to sites of poor quality. So it's very important to write quality and useful content. Doing this, they will link to your posts.
Here you got some tips that you should known:
- Find the appropiate keywords related to you blog and use them in the tittle posts, articles, footers, links, meta tags... and do it in Bold or Italic.
- Use keyword in the file names, for example: keyword1.html.
- Use synonyms.
- It's better textlinks that graphic links.
- Put your links in other blogs or forums.
TIP 7 - SEND YOUR BLOG TO THE SEARCH ENGINES
All the search engines and directories have a section to send them your blog link.

TIP 29 - PPC ADVERTISING
Create pages or special mini-sites without distractions.
You need to focus the attention of visitors in the affiliate product link or in the form to receive the newsletter or mini-course.

Write a ebook and split it on two parts. Then offer for free the Volume 1 and put a link with a descount coupon for the Volumen 2 wich will not be free.

Take the goal of doubling the traffic of your website or blog. Get 2 months or however long you want and work each week on a way to generate traffic.
